Frequently Asked Questions

If your normal collection day falls on or after a holiday listed below, your pick up will be delayed by one day for that week only. Friday’s collections will be done on Saturday. Holidays are Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Note: The actual holiday must fall on a week day to affect pickup. For example if Christmas Day is on a Sunday but the observed holiday is Monday, this DOES NOT affect your pickup.

If you’re late and miss the truck, we’ll happily take a double load from your location on the next normal pick up day at no extra charge. However, if you request us to come out to your residence again, you will be assessed a $20.00 fee.
Call our office and request a new one. We’ll arrange for a new one to be sent out as soon as possible. There is no charge as long as the break is due to normal wear and tear.
You can hose out your cart or bin with some bleach or other deodorizing agents. The bins are designed for trash and are sturdy. A little rinsing won’t hurt them.
Avoid placement near cars or mailboxes. In fact, steer clear of anything that may be broken or may block your pick up. It’s best to place them 4 feet apart and curbside for the easiest pick up.
If you are unsure, please feel free to call us. Generally, large items such as televisions, appliances, electronics, and furniture will require a special request. For some items, we have to schedule a specific day. There is no need to call if you’re putting some extra bags out, just make sure that all items are brought to the curb.
Each size will have its own weight limit. For safety reasons, we ask that heavier items, such as brick, not be placed in the cart. Any carts that are too heavy will not be picked up.
Call and make arrangements for these items. We’ll let you know if we can handle them or if there is an alternate dumping site. Things like oil and paint cannot be dumped.
Well, if it appears to be too good to be true, then chances are it is. We do our best to keep our prices the lowest without compromising quality, attention to detail, and the flexible options that you will enjoy with your service. Our customer service representatives will be happy to go over your current services, see how we may better improve on what we are offering you or discuss an alternate service if your needs have changed.
